Stewart Property Inspections LLC is committed to providing reliable, professional, and timely inspection services. The following booking policy outlines scheduling procedures, payment requirements, cancellations, and client responsibilities.
Scheduling Inspections
Inspection appointments may be scheduled through:
• Online booking system
• Phone scheduling
• Email scheduling
• Realtor coordination
Appointments are confirmed only after:
✔ Required booking information is submitted
✔ Client agrees to Inspection Agreement
✔ Payment or payment authorization is received
Payment Policy
Payment is due prior to report delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include:
• Credit / Debit Card
• Approved electronic payment platforms
• Other approved payment arrangements
Inspection fees are based on:
• Property size
• Property age
• Property location
• Inspection type
• Additional requested services
Quotes may change if property details provided during booking are inaccurate.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Client Cancellation
Clients may cancel or reschedule inspections by providing notice.
✔ Cancellations made 48 hours or more before scheduled inspection:
• Full refund or rescheduling option
✔ Cancellations made less than 48 hours before inspection:
• May be subject to cancellation fee up to full inspection fee
• Fee may be waived at inspector discretion
Missed Appointments
If the inspector arrives and cannot perform the inspection due to:
• No property access
• Utilities not activated
• Unsafe conditions
• Pets not secured
• Property not ready
A trip fee or full inspection fee may apply.
Property Access Responsibility
The Client or Client’s agent is responsible for ensuring:
• Property access is arranged
• Utilities are active
• Pets are secured
• All areas are accessible
Stewart Property Inspections is not responsible for delayed inspections caused by restricted access.
Weather & Safety Conditions
Inspections may be postponed if:
• Severe weather creates unsafe conditions
• Roof or exterior areas cannot be safely accessed
• Hazardous conditions exist at property
When possible, inaccessible areas may be inspected during a return visit which may require additional fees.
Inspection Scope Reminder
Home inspections are:
✔ Visual
✔ Non-invasive
✔ Limited to accessible areas
✔ Performed according to North Carolina Standards of Practice
Inspections do NOT guarantee future performance or identify hidden defects.
Report Delivery
Inspection reports are typically delivered within:
✔ 24–72 hours after inspection completion
✔ Delivery time may vary depending on property size and conditions
Client Attendance
Clients are welcome to attend the inspection but must:
• Follow inspector safety instructions
• Avoid entering hazardous areas
• Avoid interfering with inspection process
Third Party Attendance
Real estate agents, contractors, or family members may attend but must not interfere with inspection procedures.
Additional Services
Additional services such as:
• Radon testing
• Mold testing
• Air quality testing
• Water testing
Must be scheduled separately and may require additional agreements.
Inspector Right to Refuse or Cancel
Stewart Property Inspections LLC reserves the right to:
• Cancel inspection if safety concerns exist
• Cancel if contract terms are not accepted
• Cancel if payment terms are not met
• Cancel for professional or ethical conflicts
If inspector cancels, fees will be refunded.
Agreement to Booking Policy
By scheduling an inspection, the Client confirms:
✔ Information provided is accurate
✔ Property access will be arranged
✔ Client agrees to inspection terms
✔ Client agrees to payment and cancellation policy
